My door lock on the driver side is always getting stuck. No matter the weather, but more so in the cold. I have to go through the passenger side to pull the lock back so I can enter from the driver side. Then after that sometimes the door will not latch closed and open right back up. The member, joegr, informed me a while back that there is an adjustment for that. Exactly what he said is in the picture at the bottom. If he himself or another member can further explain that, it'd be a huge help! This will be the first time for me going into the door panel. Read section 501-05 of the online shop manual for removing the door panel and plan to follow that step by step. Anything else that I will need, tool wise, step wise? And I assume I should check the window regulator while I'm in there. I will research how to inspect it tonight. Anything else I should check? Anything would be helpful guys! Thank you. And thanks to Joegr for the tip!

Sounds pretty clear. It will make more sense once you're in the door and can see what Joe is saying.

Okay so I do not see the rod joegr is talking about, can someone point it out if I'm missing it?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390862545.874992.jpg

Sorry for the confusion in my end. It is a yellow clamp correct? I undid it and now do I just clip it back and good to go?

Yes, that should be all there is to it. Do test before you put the door trim back on.

Okay I hate to keep bothering everyone with this but I'm really struggling. I did the clamp thing, but my lock is still stuck. When I put the key in the door and turn everything works as well as if I push/pull the lock from the interior. When I try to unlock it with keypad or the fob, the rest of the car unlocks, but the drivers door lock will basically move 1mm in each direction. It seems to me that the cable is loose but I don't see why that would be the cause as mechanically it works flawless....

If it won't unlock electrically, the problem is in the door latch assembly itself. You may be able to take it apart and fix it, but most just replace it.
