has anyone tried to remove any or all parts of the woodgrain kit?
if you did remove it how did u do so?
i am wondering because i want to remove some pieces.

well.. if ur talking about the stick on woodgrain aftermarket peices.. they just come off.. then use goo gone to clear off the excess.. as far as the original stock woodgrain parts..

i've seen ppl here sand, primer, base coat, and clear coat the handle surround.. steering wheel, shift knob, and all the other parts of the car that are dont in wood...

if u do some research... there was a guy who posted pictures on how to i believe...

i know he has a red LS and he painted all the wood red to match.. look for it.. i personally liked the results.. hope that was of help

Sorry, are you trying to remove the original wood pieces, or parts from an aftermarket kit?

aftermarket kit, just taking a few piecs off

OK. If I was doing it, I'd use a hairdryer to warm the glue underneath and try to peel the piece off. Perhaps some dental floss under the piece would help cut through the glue too.

Good luck.
