I'm in Toronto Canada, and want to know where I can go to get my rev limiter removed. I know the Xcal is required, but I don't want to have to buy one just for that. I want to be able to rev it while in P or N.
Thanks.

Any particular reason?

It cant be done yet on a 03+, I have a XCAL2 and Torrie at FastPartsNetwork still cant figure out how to bypass this. Even when the rev limiter is removed the car revs up in Park or Neutral like a turtle. Its like 1000 RPM's every 5 seconds.

I am not sure why it cannot be removed, but I am also not sure why your would want to remove the neutral rev limiter either. I haven't had a chance to look at my LS's program in my SCT software, but I will see what I can find. Either way, you will need a chip or an XC2 to do it.

Not to remove it permanently, just to bump up the limiter so the car car rev, but the 03+ with the throttle by wire wont freely rev like a 00-02 can.

I agree! The rev limiter at the top is supposed to be removable, but the neutral/park limiter just will not respond to Torrie's manipulations. On the other hand, I had no need to remove the neutral limiter so it was no big deal to me.:) BTW, if the car is in gear you can torque load the transmission for quicker starts as the rev limiter does not apply.
