After driving my Ls everywhere and back and giving it a lil bit of an asskicking (even though its a v6) I have noticed to run into a mild sputtering. Ended up finding out one of my Coil On Plugs is going bad. I decided to replace all 6 while I'm working on it, so which COP is the best bang for the buck, keep in mind its completely stock and keeping it stock and is also a V6

Dude, welcome to the forum, we're happy you've started doing stuff to your LS, but you need to start searching.

Because it clogs up the forum with far to many topics of the same thing, and makes searching for actual relevant information that much harder.

Don't be lazy and clog up the results, like Stops said. Do you expect to get everything handed to you in life? Work for it brah.

actually you may wait hours or a whole day to get a correct or acceptable answer, when searching can provide the correct answer in a few minutes. not to mention, when you search, you can also find the answers to a lot of questions that have not been asked.

its also worth noting that the eldest and wisest members get tired of answering the same old questions over and over again, and eventually just give up and stop replying, then you are left with people who may not really know the answer but have seen the question before and just parrot back the answer, sometimes with a little bit of incorrect information mixed in (some times with a lot of incorrect information).

honestly, i just dont have the time to wait around, when i find i have a problem, i dont have endless amounts of time to get it done, hop online, look around, bam, find it, get it done, and move on.

in the four years i have fixed about 10 or more things gone wrong an dhave only started three threads on top of my welcome thread.

havent tried visteon; i recommend BWD/Intermotor Ignition Coil @ advance auto if you have one close. use code a123 when checking out to get $20 off $50 purchase, buy each coil in seperate orders to maximize the discount. BWD/Intermotor's are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty. no probs for me and with a lifetime warranty i dont think i will have any. i dont have water or oil probs in the wells tho. not sure where everyone buys the visteons from (or how much) but you run the risk of imposter part on ebay and the like. i wouldnt imagine visteon has much of a warranty either, since no one has mentioned one in my casual readings on the subject

Personally, I don't now why anyone would want to bother with a return on a defective part, when ordered off the internet. Such a PITA! Especially such a high wear, problematic part like a coil. You would be better off going to a LPS, and purchasing one with a lifetime warranty.

While I'm at it... a couple of suggestions. Keep a spare coil, and a 1/4" drive socket set in the trunk. Just in case. Or... buy a cheap $50 Actron scanner. Keep that in the trunk, and when the engine starts misfiring, use the scanner to determine which coil is going bad, and unplug that injector to keep from burning up your cats, (platinum not feline). :D You'll set more codes by unplugging the injector, but they can be erased for free.

Lastly... If your vehicle has 70,000 or more miles on it, without coil issues, and you have a coil failure. Replace them all, because the rest are soon to follow. Then keep the still good ones as spares.

From my experience, BWD's are good, and have a lifetime warranty through your LPS.
