Ok, so this has gotten to the point where I could literally scream at the dealer. I have taken this car in 4 times to get the rear windows worked on and here we go AGAIN!!! Heres the problem, it's alternated sides each time, the windows sound like they are going down, but they do not. The dealer says "They just keep going off track." Well since these are words from retarded ass rednecks who dont know :q:q:q:q about cars, can someone, who actually would know something, please tell me what could be my problem. HOw do I solve this problem? Is there a way to remove the panels?

Lastly, the window can be pushed down and it will go back up when I pull the switch up. One of my friends has a 1998 Expedition has the SAME problem and said he took it to the dealer several hundred times until his warranty was up, and they cant seem to fix it. Stupid ass Kentucky people.

It really sounds to me like the window has become detached from the regulator. They used to glue the attachment strip to the bottom of the window...but I'm not sure how this car is done. But with the glued type windows, your problem is a common one. The ONLY permanent cure is a new window. We never did find a glue that would hold up.

By the way, when the strip pulls away from the window, the window usually stays in the track and all you have to do is push it down to put it back in the strip. It may temporarily stick for a while again. But I'm willing to bet you a cold one you need new windows as that's the only way you can get the strip permanently affixed to the window.
