Hey guys,
I've been wanting to get this fixed for some time now. Just called the dealership about it today
Well, My 2000 Lincoln LS, I bought it and did not know that the rear view mirror was indeed BROKEN!
It is the auto-dimming mirror. The green light does not come on, and it stays dark, it has a portion of tint that does not change color. At the top of the mirror its normal. and I can see fine out my tinted windows. At night its a bitch too see.
Also at the very top of the mirror, there is a brown streak going across it. As if is fried.
the Lincoln mercury place where I bought my car here in Florida Said it will be $130 to replace. Which is about right from my research.
Anyone know of any common fixes? or other places to get one. In a few days going to go to a junk yard and snoop around.
