All stock mark diffs are open 3.08 or 3.27, you will have to buy the Posi and get it installed. I have a few but shipping would be $$$.

look for a supercoupe pumpkin. alot of them had 3.08s with a trac lock.

These cars(engines) do well with starting point of 4.10's.

FWIW, i get 20 mpg combined. i have a heavy foot.

3.55s don't justify a swap in my opinion.
these cars are too heavy.
mark viii's have RPM. use the RPM.

If 100% of your driving yeah maybe but you still have an OD and its not bad at 70-75.

I had 4.10 posi in my old 94 but it was too much on the highway for me. Been running 3.73 posi now and I like them allot more, a little harder to chirp the tires but still responsive.

Does anyone know what the weight difference is between the Steel vs. aluminum housings?

Almost 20 pounds, iron chunk weighs ~80 lbs while aluminum is ~62.
