2 bolts, 4 nuts, axle puller and about 30 minutes, and it's out. Make sure you tie the half-shaft down so that it doesn't pop out.
I rented an axle puller to make my life easier. I don't like beating onto it like some "mechanics" might try. The toughest part was taking the axle nut off, you really need air tools for that. Make sure you get a new one to replace it as well. Torque to 221 lb-ft (one manual page says ~220, and another ~300, so I torqued mine to 250). It's also recommended to replace all the nuts as well, as they are self-locking. I didn't take any chances and swapped them out.
