Pressed out the rear hub in one of the knuckles and this is what I found (pics from my phone):
There is a line where the inner race of the bearing is separated. It seems as if the portion of the hub closest to the tire was the only part ever making contact with the bearing.
My question is; do I need a new hub?
This one lasted in the original wheel bearing for over 200,000 miles.
