rear end shudder

This happen when i accelerate slowly, the car feels like it shudders in the rear as it comes out of 1st? i don't notice it when I go hard. Any ideas? 2002 atx LS with sst.

How many miles are on your car?

If you have 70K + Id suggest taking it to the dealer and having the tranny flushed.. Im sure others here will mention same thing.


If that does not fix the problem. Could be the solenoid packs. Someone else back me up on this?

i used to be in real estate until 3 months ago so the car has 190K (118M?) I don't even know the last time I changed the tranny fluid. Give it a shot.

nope! I book for monday @ ford for trany fluid change, $149. Oh well.

well, i got the tranny flushed and fuel filter done ($200) at ford today. Car still drives smooth as ever except that shutter from the rear at times? Any other ideas?
