Rear defrost not working...

seems my rear defrost stopped defrosting on cold mornings. Sideview mirrors defrost fine and fuse I located for defroster under hood pictured in owners manual is OK. Any ideas? Also rear windows are tinted so there has been no damage to electrical traces in/on glass. 1998 Mark VIII, The Hot Red Lincoln!

Did you carefully check the contact on the grid? There are two, one each side. They can break/corrode off although its not terribly common.

I wonder if the switch can go back and do this. If I recall there are several wires out the back of it, not just two. Wonder is they are separated in the switch somehow. Jamie may know.
