Finally got around to installing the spidey valve yesterday so i figured i'd report results.
I've had the ray switch for almost a year and have had two griefs about it that i never liked.
1. After disconnecting the battery and hooking it back up it would vent the car. Kind of a pain in the a$$.
2. The purpose of the ray switch was to lower the car, well first the front would come down, then it would stop, i had to hit the switch numerous times (sometimes 5 times or so) to get the rear to come down, even then it took forever.
Onto the good news -
With the spider valve installed, you rewire the relay that vents, so now when i hook the battery up after being disconnected it DOES NOT VENT THE CAR. Which is exactly how it should be.(something for you only running the ray switch to consider)
Also, now when i hit the ray switch it DUMPS the system, front and rear all 4 corners at once pssssssssssssssssssssssht to the ground.
Anyway, I think there is a leak somewhere (no problem when its already pumped up) but it took forever to get the car back off the ground.
It started raining and getting dark and i just left it for another sunny day when i can relocate it, I'll probably run a second compressor (i'll be having some questions about that) and i gotta order some rubber mounts and more line.
All in all - when running the ray switch AND spider valve, its a wicked sick combo that DUMPS the system almost instantly, gives a wild psssssssst sound, not to mention the pressure guage is pretty cool as well, lets you know what the systems up to.
