radiator leak

this morning i found a radiator leak, its right on the damn plastic where the upper rediator hose connects to so i put some prestone stop leak and a hour later i put on some JB well apoxy hopefully this will last me long enough for me to order a new radiator for this car, i replaced all the cooling components exept the radiator and water pump, im going to replace at the same time. here is a pic.

ps. i cleaned the bug off after i took the pic and noticed it lol.

Damn it it didn't work, has anyone tried the rockauto ones for 100 bucks or eBay ones cuz the factory ones from team ford parts is 250 or 350 if I go straight to the dealer.

In an emergency, I've been able to get JB Weld to work for a few days before, but near a hose connection is a high stress area and it may be impossible.
What I did was to mostly drain the system and then apply a slight vacuum to it to try and suck the epoxy into the crack. Then, I ran with the degas bottle cap loose so that the system wouldn't pressurize. That worked for the week that it took to get parts.

good idea, what i have been doing is running the heat on 90 and thats keeping the car from overheating until this Friday thats when im getting my parts in. the only other part that i need to replace in the cooling system is the water pump, i might just do that for the hell of it instead of waiting for it to fail.
