Hey fellas one quick question I've been hearing a huming noise coming from my front passenger wheel. What can that be?

Does it occur when the car is moving? Sounds like your bearing may be going out.

Jack the wheel off the ground, spin the tire/wheel by hand. If it's making noise it might be the wheel bearing (this test would eliminate tire noise issues). Any brake shop can probably replace that. You can DIY. Check with Max or RockAuto etc for pricing.

Others have mentioned testing it in a left hand turn, does it sound more on the right side? If turn right, does it make less sound on the right side? If so, it's leading to a bad passenger wheel bearing.

If it is a wheel bearing... get it replaced ASAP!

Is this all I need or do I need something else with it

Thats all you need. I would recommend doing both sides. Its very easy to change yourself, sometimes after you remove the bolts it doesnt want to come out but a little persuasion with a hammer does the trick. I jacked up my car and grabbed the top and bottom of the wheel, shook it back and forth, and noticed a little play in the bearing.

Not sure where you are located but if the car has seen any winters it may be a pain to remove the hub. I had to use a torch and hammer the thing out. Check this post out, especially #25, it will come in useful if the hub is stuck.

I purchased a Timken from Rockauto, its been on a few months.

So I did my front hubs yesterday and everthing went really easy:cool:. The hubs came right out once i took off the forth bolt(thank god):D. I thought I was going to have to pound on it for a while after reading about it on other threads. I also decided to put on my stock rims again and get rid of the 20s. If anybody is interested in buying them let me know and ill put up some pics.
