I am wondering if the 3 piece 2nd gen rear bumper lip will fit on a 1st gen?
 
*UPDATE*

Just noticed there are two different second gen lips, lse and sport. What's the difference between these?

Will either fit 1st gen?

You're talking about spoilers? Pretty sure they all fit all years.

Since you said bumper, I'm assuming you mean the lower lip on the bumper, the black lower part on gen2 regular bumpers right? If so, then gen1's dont have cut out like gen2's so you might run into problems there.

The difference between gen2 and gen2 lse bumper on this part would be color matched, ofcourse, and the center piece between the tips has more of a design on the ends than just flat like the regular bumper have.
 
Yeah the lower lip. I was just curious if the mounting was the same. I was planning on buying the gen2 lower lip and put it on my gen1 rear bumper and make the exhaust cut outs into the bumper so it would pretty much be like the gen2 bumper.
But since I'm having troubles finding that lip, I might just have to make it work with what I have and make the cut outs into gen1 lip and the bumper still.

Some Green Bay Packer fan use to have his car painted Green and Gold.. Now he bought a pukey Greenish Yellow Truck... And put a cheese hat in the middle of the hood!! :lol:
 
Yeah, he's referring to the lower valance. Why not just cut the first gen rear valance? I don't know if the mounting screw locations line up.

I miss my clean car. Looks like I may have a weekend in the garage if it's above zero.
 
This spring, buddy. Needs to be polished again. And new tips. And x pipe/resonator delete. And rear surround needs to be painted again.
