quick grille question

so I had my grille off for about a week to paint went to put it on and there is a lil gap just wondering if this is normal?
I kinda forgot since its been about a week hahaha but here are some pics

Mine has a small gap too and its all stock. never took it off or anything. Think its normal and you really only notice it when washing the car, at least on mine.

cool I think I just really never notcied it til I put the grille back on thanks

and to clean up the paint grille should I use an alcohol base product or just washing it regurlar i kinda get marks when I touch it even with my shirt

Did you paint the grille? and if so what kind of paint did you use?

ya i did I used all dupli-color

dupli- self-etching primer
dupli- gloss black
dupli- crystal clear- clear coat

there is write up about it on ls koncepts but for me its hard to find so if you just type something like

painting grille or rear sourround "cant remeber" on lincoln ls it should pop up

so anybody else just wanna make sure that this gap isnt too big

That gap looks pretty big to me. You may want to try to re-seat it.

On mine the hood and grille don't match perfectly but there's isn't a big gap like what you have. It's more just uneven then a gap. Looks like yours is sitting too high or something.
