I have a '02 V6 Base model; are the 30mm, shown here, the right size? I tried a search but all I kept seeing was Sport models and Gen II's. But this is the size that was mentioned as best. And I'm right in saying that mine aren't molded on the bar? No cutting required? Thanks.

the size of the sport sway is 30 mm and base are 27 if i'm right .

Hmm, I was reading that 27mm would be the other size to use if not 30mm, but here it says that 28.5 seems to be the right size for non-sport (if 30mm is for sport), so is it 30mm, 28.5mm, or 27mm for a base model?

Only one way to tell, put a vernier caliper on the bar and measure it. Make sure it is metric, if possible. I have a cheap plastic one that is good for this kind of measuring.

Good suggestion, I might have to do that if someone doesn't chime in that has done this to a base model. I wasn't really looking to crawl under my car in the snow until I had what I needed so hopefully someone will know for sure ;).

I decided I would just go with 27mm since for sure the 30mm was for sport, it was between 28.5mm and 27mm, not much of a difference anyway so might as well go with the tighter one ;).

I actually left that to my step-dad's friend.. He use to be a Ford mechanic.. Took him 2 hours..

And sorry, I left for a day or so because of the whole LJ sh!t
