I'm looking to do a retrofit in my car but I don't want to do those tiny lenses.

Has anyone got any measurements of the chrome reflectors in the lights?

I'm thinking of a Q45 Low with a LS430 hi. I'm more into filling in the space with a nice sized lens rather than the shroud and all.

Here are the lens's I plan to use.

man those projectors will look hideous, you must have poor style :bash:

I'm still trying to locate the projectors for a good price so I'm not out if this don't work.

I need lots of planing cause I will need to remove the factory reflector for the Q45 all together to fit. I found the Q45 lens is about 5" Diameter and I think the factory reflector might be just about 5"from top to bottom and a bit bigger from side to side but I still didn't get around to measuring it yet.

The Lexus LS projector should just fit with its shroud in place of the Hi beam, reflector but I also am not sure of what will happen with this project if I remove the reflectors. Some people tell me not to and then very few tell me it would be OK as long as its a good fit.

I also refuse to do it if I cant find a projector turn signal to fit with easy fabrication.

well u could paint the amber lense in black or silver and just make a round hole, then if u want just stick something clear like they use is some restaurants roofs, they are a kinda clear plastic? there is many options for that I think. I would just paint the chrome part in black and leave an HID white LED bulbs stand out, my brother has em n they look sick.

I allready painted the inside chrome reflector black like another member did and I thik that looks sick but I want the actual lens and shroud to be next to OEM in looks like some of the Mazdas and stuff.

I see, Im still waiting to find the rods to build the angel eyes before I open up my headlights.
