Question regarding driver seat

So this may have already been discussed but I've really been having no luck finding much relevant information on this subject. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2003 LS V8 and one of the issues is that the driver side seat will not move. I believe the seller said that the motor hums but it just doesn't move. I'll be able to confirm tomorrow. Anyone else have any experience with this issue?

Also the front bumper of this car was in need of a new paint job, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to just upgrade to an LSE bumper. Anyone know if these fogs are worthwhile? Autopia

id look around for some OEMs before i bought those... also check with max at five star parts (ad on the right) just to see what his prices would be... good luck. havent heard of a seat not working.. there is a wiring harness under the seat that is known to wear out and break.. It would be a good place to start

Well minor update:

I bought the car; it's friggin amazing. Seats turned out to be a blown fuse and easily fixed.

Are there any HID foggies that come well recommended for the LSE bumper?

No you need to install an HID kit or led fogs.
