Hello,

I just bought some 20" wheels and tires off of eBay (too good of a deal to pass up). However, I am not sure if they will work on my LS.

Please tell me if these wheels will rub or NOT work.

Tire size- 245/35/20
Offset- +34

Is the bolt pattern correct??

I believe the offset will give you some issues. Maybe not on stock ride height, but if you ever try to lower it it will cause some problems.

Correct offset is 45 to 50 i believe?

I do not have any intentions of lowering my car, but if it is going to rub with my stock suspension then I have a problem.

Has anyone installed a +34 offset?

Stock suspension with that offset definately whole lot of rubbing. Go at least 40mm+ with 20" wheels.

Spacers are going to make them stick out even further. You want a higher offset that pushes the wheel further into the wheel well.

I am having my mechanic put the wheels on for me Wednesday evening. So we will find out then..... I hope they work, but it isn't looking good from what these posts are saying :(

How WIDE are the wheels? That will also have an effect.

Here's a nice little tool. Looks like as long as the wheel is 7 1/2" of less you should be OK.

Another good site. According to this your new tire size will be ~1/2" taller. That may cause a problem

you don't need a mechanic to swap the wheels. You can do it in your garage. All the tools needed came with your car, and are located in the trunk :D

Any idea how bad these will rub? Will it only be if there is a ton of weight in the back seat, when the wheels are cranked all the way, or will they just rub all of the time?

I just want to have an idea of what I should expect to see when I "try them out".

It's usually a good idea to ask these questions BEFORE buying...

i had 20x8.5 rims with a +38mm offset. Everytime i went over a dip they would rub so i got the fenders cut and it helped a little but still alot of rubbing. I had eibach pro-kit on it and it turned into hell after that. i couldnt fit 4 people in the back because the car wouldnt move AT ALL!!. so i sold my 20's and am looking for some nice 18's

Well, get ready to resell them... or have your fender's flared... which would look pretty slick, but I'm sure for what that and the repaint would cost, you could have a HELL of a nice set of wheels that actually fit.
