It might handle a little better; but if your bags aren't in great shape, you may be wearing them down. You may also affect other suspension components.

You lower it and you will have a more firm ride because the suspension is traveling less up and down more like a vette, better on curves but sucks with bigger bumps.
With the old suspenison the cracks in the bags could start to leak because they ar ein a different position
But I like it, being an ex vette ( 1969 427 ) owner....
Just make sure you get an alignment afterwards............ it seems too many people don't think it's a necessity, then complain that their tires are shreds in a thousand miles. It toes the tires out as well as producing negative camber. You pretty much push your front tires down the road even after only a 2" drop. The cost of the alignment is a wise investment.
