Question for you V6 guys

Would any of you be willing to snap some pictures or your differential for me? Im trying to figure out if the V6 and V8 diffs are interchangeable. I cant seem to find any Gen1s with 3.58s in my area for a good price but there are more than a few for the V6. The cases are different, aluminum as opposed to our nodular iron which is something else Im interested in. So yea, if one of ya'll would be willing, it'd be much appreciated. Getting my LS out of storage today and would like to get busy on trying to crack 13s again.

I thought you had a gen2 which came with 3.58 stock IIRC.

Are you looking for gen1 or gen2 v6 because I think they are different between the generations.

IIRC there is a difference in the spline count between the 1st gen v6 and v8. Nevermind, they seem to both be 28 spline.

Gen1 can take a limited-slip; Gen2 cannot, so you have to swap the differential.
