While out running arrands I decided to go into SST mode and see if the transmission a learn my shift points based on rpm range, after a few runs I noticed that now say at a rpm range of 1500 up to 2000 my shift points are quicker which results in a better pedal response and the car does not feel sluggish and or heavy as it picks up speed from a complete stop.
When in the 2000 to 3000 rpm range at half throttle, the shift points seem quick and it pick up speed faster, and it does not drop into say fourth gear from five to speed up it just go.
Wide open throttle the shifts are fast RPMS get quicker to the 4000 range and she runs like hell.
My question is do the transmission learn at specific rpm ranges or is this just my imagination?
All responses are welcome and thanks for any input or information in advance.
