Question about replacing stock HID

I bought some bulbs (OEM Xenon 6000K D2C D2R D2S HID Replacement Light Bulbs) and I was going to replace them last night, consulting the manual I see it says have only a dealer do it.
Is there some special reason for this?

I have factory HID, but the one on the left is greener than the one on the right- the right one is a little whiter- and it's really bothering me now that it's getting dark so much earlier.

Also one quick other question- the past couple days there's a thread about junk getting jammed up in the radiator area, made my check mine and I got junk wedged down there too, now I can't find the thread or remember what it was called to see how other people cleaned theirs out- if anyone can tell me the name of that thread I'd be most grateful.

im pretty sure you don't need a dealer to replace a couple of bulbs. i mean its simple remove your headlight take out old and in with the new. also remember not to touch the bulb with your fingers. just to be safe before you put them in wipe the bulb down with a cloth. the oil from your skin can cause the bulb to burst its happened to me before.

and when i did my radiator i just got a long skinny brush and reached in the and just swiped it off

Hate to tell you, but OEM is not 6000k, it's 4300k (same as every other OEM hid system). Mixing color temps is going to look pretty weird. Also, our cars use D2R bulbs (reflector), not sure why your description has every type of hid bulb listed. Anyway, no, you can easily do it yourself. I have OEM hid's and I've had both the headlights and the bulbs themselves out several times. As already mentioned, definitely be careful to not get anything (especially oil from your skin) on the bulbs. I believe the only reason the manual says to have a dealer do it is because of the high voltage risk from the ballasts/igniters. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
