question about headlight

i have a 2006 lincoln lse. i know the bulbs are h11 and 9005 but how can i tell if i have hid or not? is there a way to tell by looking at the headlight assembly? or do i need to take the bulb out of the headlight to tell if i have em or not?
 
There will be high voltage warnings under the hood near the lights if you have HIDS.
If you have HIDs, when you turn them on there will be a slight flicker and you can notice the light coming up to full brightness.
If you have HIDs, turn the fog lights on. The fog lights will be a less white color than the low beams. This is true for the high beams too. If the color of the low beams matches the color of the high beams, you don't have HIDs.
