Yes, I searched, but there are literally so many results that I could not get the answer I was looking for.

I am going to be converting on of my Mark VIII's from air suspension, and I want to run Koni 5-ways for a Thunderbird, and Thunderbird lowering springs from H&R. Now as I understand it, the T-Bird front strut assembly should be a straight bolt-in, right?

Now what do I need to do for the rear? Can I use the Thunderbird rear springs with one of those rear conversion kits? Can I just get the rear conversion plates separately?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You need spring perches to seat the t-bird spring properly in the lower c-arm. Then you need the top cover brackets to keep the spring from moving.

I assume you want the H&R springs there ?

Yup. I want the H&R springs specifically. I don't want whatever crap they usually include in those "one spring fits all" conversion kits. But the way it is looking, I might just have to purchase one of them just to get the spring perches.

The top brackets that came with my kit were pretty much just a square piece of steel with the corners bent up 90 degrees, and a small tab welded on the top. I'm sure a local metal fab shop could make you some.
