Last weekend a FLM dealership quoted me $3,500 to replace the upper & lower control arms. BanginLS are you going to DIY?
nope, i had to do it at a body shop by my house yesterday. The car was so unaligned that it snapped off 4 of the 5 lugs on one tire and left me stranded.. I had to pay the 368 price for the lower control arm, but only 100 for installation.
I also went ahead and did the breaks.. calipers, tires, alignment and bought some vaseline (j/k).. my total was like 2,000 for everything installed and aligned with the breaks flushed and etc.. shoulda been less but i kinda got stuck at that body shop with no other choice cause the car cant move with 1 stud on one tire..

Do you know how the studs were replaced?
Also, right after I got my brakes done at the dealership they said I should have the $3,500 suspension work before getting an alignment. My alignment was perfect, then I put 20's on and now the alignment is off again. Any idea of how I can get a shop to do the alignment with out f'ing up the chrome rims and over-tightening the lugnuts.
2 of my studs had to be broken off to get the lug nuts off to put the 20s on.
