I just want you guys to be cautious if you any HID kits from a member on this forum (BriansLS).

About two months ago, BriansLS sent me two HID kits but one of the kits was bad. He keeps telling me the replacement shipped out....Well here we are over a month later and NOTHING!

I understand that you are frustrated. But in order for him to get compensation from USPS (if that's how they were shipped), I believe it has to be like 30 days to guarantee that it didn't just get delayed/misrouted.

I know, sounds dumb. But I had an issue with some products I bought, that were shipped Priority Mail. They were supposed to be at my house in 3 days. Didn't show up for 2 weeks.

If he is keeping a communication line open, and willing to work with you to resolve an issue I would be happy with that.

But a month is a long time. He should file a lost item claim, and ship you a new set.

If he is telling the truth about shipping the replacement, then it's not him that's the problem. It's the shipping company. He has done everything he can, short of sending out multiple kits.

I don't know that member, but if he's being honest, then you will be taken care of. Did he provide you with a tracking number?

Did he provide you with a tracking number?

That is part of the problem. I have asked for the tracking # multiple times and he says "it's not on him".

He also did this when I purchased the kits. The kits took almost 3 weeks to arrive.

I would ask him for his phone number. Then ask when he'll be near the tracking info. That's just common courtesy. Then you wouldn't have to bother him, you could just log on to usps.com or whatever.

How were the previous kits shipped?

Main thing is that you are keeping in contact with the member .... sometimes these things take time.

Remember that when you deal member to member they are not a store and sometimes these things take a bit longer as the member is trying to get things straighten out with UPS or whatever shipping company they used.

It's rare that a member here attempts to screw another member (but it does happen from time to time).

We've also had members who have purchased from another member try to screw the seller in an attemp to get a free item.

You think when selling an item like that you would test them before they are shipped out. Just so he would know whether it was in working condition or not.

Yeah, it sucks! But it could have been worse. At least, the Low-Beam kit is fine.

I am ordering a new kit for the fogs tomorrow, and if he does stay true to his word of fixing the deal, I will resell one of the kits.

Just to be clear, I am not bashing BriansLS, but I would not recommend purchasing any HID kits from him.

BriansLS got me a tracking # :dancefool ! I am really happy that the replacement is coming.

At the end of the day, Brian is making it right! Thanks!
