I have a 1996 Mark 8.
Car was in great shape mechanically prior to doing any modifications.
Recently, I have added a dual exhaust and mufflers, K/N air filter, a performance Chip and a Megameter MAF.
I noticed an increase in performance right away. I also notice that instead of starting on the first try, it took two tries to start her at first.....then three....then four and now I can't get her to start at all. Cranks fine, but wont turn over.
I am in no way blaming any of the mods for the non-start issues, but would like anyones opinion on possible solutions that I may try. Does the Mark 8 have a history of non-start issues? The local Pep Boys cant get it to start and claimed to have checked everythin electrical. I really dont think those guys have a clue, but all I can think of at this time is Chip programming, fuel filter, FPR, or something else fuel related. Any suggestions?
