I was given an '89 Cougar XR-7 5spd back in the day. Turns out one of the accessories was seized and that was "locking up the motor". Cut the belt off and proceeded to do some smoke shows with the beast.

I was gonna say, if he just got in one day and it wouldn't turn over I doubt the motor would be seized... Sounds like a good deal either way.

i want one of those so bad.
i'm going to rebuild the AOD and get a windshield put in our 89 xr7 this summer.
maybe i should dump the aod and find a manual.. hmmm...
