Hello I'm new to this forum!
My 05 V8 LS recently hit 100,000 and I've been experiencing some serious lag on acceleration. If I floor the car the reaction time is like 1.5-3 secs for the engine to pick up, and when it does the car basically launches! When I start my car frequently it will shake pretty bad while idling. Sometimes it will rev up to the 2rpm mark then after starting it again it gradually get lower until it starts to shake!
So far I've had all 8 spark plug changed which helped the shaking reduce but the acceleration is still an issue and the car never consistently revs up to 2rpm...
I'm guessing the coils are bad?

Is it worth investing in performance coils I do plan going to the track
