Ok I finally pulled my Flordia blasted headlights out( I'm in Michigan) and block sanded them with 1000 grit,1200, then 1500 grit. Then I bought a 6" buffing pad for my grinder and some compound for plastic. And buffed them up. If it wasn't for the WATER spots on the inside I would say they look like new. Don't be Afearred DO IT!! :monkey:
To my surprise when I took the bulbs out they were the blue ones. The new ones I bought were a lot more blue colored ,the ones someone else said they got from e-bay. I got four for 25.00 I haven't had it out at night yet to see if I can see the LIGHT yet. LOL
I have a 96 LSC so some one had taken the HID bulbs out. :Bang CHEAP BAs()^(*^erds Maybe someday I'll hook the HID'S back up.

Did you take the lens off to clean the inside? I've been needing to do that and I wanted to hear about someone else's experience. I heard you can heat the ass'y in your oven at 225 degrees and not hurt the ass'y, in order to melt the adhesive enough to pull the lens off. What do you think?

Fossten, No I didn't take them a part. Mine aren't real bad , just some water spots on the passenger side. I didn't see the spots until I polished the lenses. :monkey:
