I have the money for either one of these, not both tho, neither has been done yet as far as I know so lets here some opinions..

TCI 3000rpm stall for the 5R55S transmission or supercharge a Gen2(which will take alot more money but buying the supercharger itself I can afford..

Hell, it's only like 500 for the TC. Just get that first. Then save up the 500 again and do the SC.

Just noticed gen 2. No kit for gen 2 right? So you'll be sinking lots of dolares into this project for r&d?

Not really cause I went to school for manufacturing so I have alot of friends in the field and the supercharger Id be using isnt a roots/screw type..

And this pole has been tied all day WTF! Yall arent helping hahah, Procharger P1SC is whats gonna be used, Im gonna trade $500 and my set of Weld Prostars for it or just get the TCI for $500

I voted the TC just because I doubt you have the time or money to actually do the supercharger.

(of course, I'd be excited if you do actually do the SC! :) )

I say do the tranny mods first cause whats the point of having crazy power if you cant put it down. That and you will definitely feel the tranny mod in the seat of the pants test.

I have enough to get the head unit, and I can get mounting brackets and pullies machined for cheap from some buddies of mine, basically all I gotta do is buy the metal for em, injectors and tuning it are gonna be what kills me..

Im gonna close the poll tonight so which ever is ahead then Ill get this weekend and since its looking like the TCI I should have it installed by next weekend..

Having a 3500 stall converter in my Mark I have to vote for the TCI Streetfighter. I do think your gonna want to get a limited slip soon after as it will be noticeably easier to spin the tires.

Awesome. Excited to hear how this turns out. Keep me updated, as a higher stall is really high on my list of mods to do.

Should have it ordered and installed by next weekend, I hope I dont need a tune or anything for the trans but maybe I should get an SCT as well??? What do you guys think?

Don't think you would NEED a tune for it. But, all mods get better results if you can tune the car to fully utilize it.

Ill let you know when I finish my LSD swap, this one tire fire thing aint cuttin it right now. I will let you know that I have the converter, and the transmission is out of my car at the moment.

yes. Yes. YES. good news, and looking forward to the updates!

i dont think any of us on here with 100 shot nitrous (or more) have transmission issues. ATI procharger is a good brand but i'm not familiar with the model he picked out. i currently run a 125 shot (50% gain) which is a high gain even for procharger. (of course i'd be jealous of always having the power available but thats a separate argument).
you'll get more of an upfront gain with the supercharger- possibly enough to satisfy your needs. stall will help later on if you want more, but wont deliver the gain i think you want. i personally would wait to do the converter until you get limited slip and enough traction. with that said, transmission issues may arise at that point.

Im doing the LSD at the same time. Its a PITA when you dont have a garage or a whole lot of time.
