Hey guys, I know this has been covered before but my searches weren't the same circumstances.
I'm having a noise in the rear end. ('03 V8 Sport) from the driver's seat, it sounds like it's in the passenger side. It's not quite a hum, it's pretty high pitched.
It occurs after ~40+ mph and is pretty constant - but only when I'm holding the accelerator slightly to maintain speed or speed up very slightly - when under moderate or heavy acceleration or coasting its either gone or too soft to notice.
Wheel bearing? Toe angle? I should add that I just put a set of Michelin Premier's on her and this was happening before that. The Cooper's I took off of it had been run low by the previous owner, and 2 of the 4 of them had ridges in the sidewall.
