Hey! I have an 04 LS V6 and I've been looking everywhere for a few appearance upgrades and cannot find them. I'm looking for a Pearl White LSE grille and an LSE bumper. I do not have a bunch of money to dump right now but does anyone know how I can search better or extend it?

Also if anyone has any ideas of improving appearance without lots of money, I'd love to hear them!!

thats kinda the problem with this car...

it is (or at least was at some time) a very expensive car. most things that improve the looks of the LS are not really cheap (LSE conversion, wheels, paint/wraps/dips...)

as a side effect, most things that are cheap, also look cheap and do not improve the appearance.

a few things that are not all too expensive that are easy to do would be things like window tint, painting/power coating brake or OEM wheels, color matching any/all chrome like the rear surround, front grill, bumpers... HIDs, debadging, exhaust tips, painting lower bumper trim and side skirts,

a good place to start? if it comes from wally world or autozone, then do bother...

For the grille specific question, they may be discontinued or no longer available. The last time I checked fordpartsgiant.com, they no longer listed my grille as "in-stock" or "available". Not that there inventory is always correct but this is a common theme with LS parts.

For aesthetics, tint is going to be the number one thing aside from well maintained paint.

Want it better looking for cheap?

Looking new is looking better.

A little paint in the right places...

Look, a chrome-plated piano...

I know some folks like the painted eyebrow look, but I always thought it looks a little fruity. Course, to each their own...

Hey, an LS wagon... would probably cost too much to convert.

That's all I can think of, so here's my favorite villain of all time:

What exactly does that clay bar do? Also hopefully getting my windows tinted by Christmas! As for paint, I've been trying get my dad to let me paint grille surround, stock rims, or even plasti dip them and he won't budge. He says that's the cheap way of doing it. But, when I have the money for 600$ rims I can't do that either! Ugh the struggle of not being 18 :/

The clay bar pulls embedded contaminants from the paint, and gives you a nice, smooth surface. Wash the car with Dawn dishwashing liquid (and I'm being specific for a reason), then wash it down with lighter fluid (no smoking). After the lighter fluid, rewash with the Dawn, and the car should be fully de-waxed. Hit it with the clay bar following the directions, then hit it with wax and the car should look brand new. If there are scratches in the paint there are ways to deal with that too, let us know what you have and perhaps take some pics for advise on scratches.

Oh, and I'm not a professional detailer. If any pro detailers are on here hopefully they will post up, take their advice on how to do this over mine.

Cool! Thanks! I'll give it a go sometime in the week and I'll post some pictures of scratches and other imperfections tomorrow.

I also have a pearl white Ls , most i have done so far is exhaust tips , m3 rear spoiler and plasti dip my stock rims and grille black , oh and hids and led headlights , pretty under budget stuff
