Part question

I'm wondering what the part is that the thermostat housing bolts to, on a 2005 Lincoln ls 3.9l, v8.

Coolant Outlet Pipe.

It's covered in several threads here. If yours is cracked, there are several more parts that you need to replace at the same time, because they too will be cracked soon.
