Looking for a few solid recommendations on what type of paint to use to paint the bluetooth microphone I had mounted in my side pillar. My 2000 interior is gray and that side pillar has an even lighter shade of gray so I am not loving the contrast that little black microphone is presenting. I want to conceal it a bit more.

Thoughts? Anyone use Krylon Fusion paint before?

Clean it really well with wax and grease remover, rough it up with a grey scotch bright or 600 grit sandpaper, and paint. I'd use SEM. But, go light on first couple of coats and allow plenty of flash time. Some plastics have bad reactions to paint.

Thanks Gus. That was an initial concern. I too have seen certain types of plastic not react well. In my heart, I am now contemplating leaving it alone and not tempting fate. LOL.

You could also use a product like SEM adhesion promoter.. Then paint over that.. I've had no problems painting the plastic pieces that I have done
