i'm also gonna be painting some of my plastic in my car so i'll be havin pics soon

and bearsfan39 ya its black the pic really doesn't do it justices once i burn all the hairs from the stitching it will look brand new lol

well you might call me dumb but all the plastic woodgrain and the plastic parts for the window switches.

I'm trying this spray paint called fusion made for plastic it bonds to plastic without sanding or priming so i'll let you know how it works out

THATS NOT PLASTIC.......its real wood as far as i know...DO NOT PAINT IT!!

ya its plastic

the only thing that is gonna kinda be tough is the wood grain on the door its attacthed to the door panel and I haven't tookin off before and dont wanna break anything but here are some pics of what I've painted so far how you like

dont worry, some times i like to work on stuff also after i have had a couple of drinks ;)

as long as it does what is suppose to do lol

so about the wood grain plastic on the doors is there a way to take them off with out taking the door panel off?

I was looking at buying one of them ebay stick on kits.

They looks like they match the factory woodgrain pretty well, and the interior looks a bit bland in mine.

i thought they where melt riveted on, so not designed to be taken off, however with enough epoxy anything can be taken off and put back on

what are you one of those picky drinkers, fukc that sh!t, i dont care if its top shelf bourbon, or bottom shelf ta-kill-ya, it all goes down the same, hell last night me and some friends where playing drinking games and we each had a bottle of boons farm, but to start the game you had to chug 1/4 of it down, and then top it off with some 5o'clock vodka, Damn, I felt like i was in high school again.

That they are. Just dremel the rivets from the back side.
cool thats what i thought, but its been awhile since i had a 1st gen apart, then just a little epoxy to hold them back on

those usually dont look too good because of how thick the wood stickers are, they just look too "out of place"

a better option would be to score the factory pieces out of a junk yard.

I already have all the wood trim pieces that came from the factory, i meant for the cupholder, center console radio and ac controls, the air vents and the power buttons.

well then if thats what cha want, then thats the only way to get it, i just have never liked how they actually looked

upon rereading that, i'm not sure if you left out the "i" in weird, or if that was the drunkin version of word. i assumed it was the first!

yessir. I was agreeing with you. Last night I was drinking screwups made with Taaka vodka. 9.97 for a home wrecker (1.75L bottle). Or course, I started with the last of a bottle of Tanqueray Rangpur.
