Ok so as you guys know Ive converted my Mark to fast bags, well I have been on the hunt for the stupid message center wire, I for the life of me cannot find it. I have scoured the threads here and Markviii.org and found text write ups, and where the so called wire should be.

I have removed the panel exposing the harnesses on the pass side, the 2 grey and black, I have removed the phillips screw holding the cables together and still no luck. Im not sure if its the MS thats getting in my way or Im in the wrong area. on my 95 I have one harness with a "D" sticker grey with 10 pins, I have another grey harness smaller look to be 6 pins on bottom 2 on top. I unplugged that the radio stopped playing so thats not it.

Does anyone have pictures of what the 12 pin harness with dark green wire with the light green tracer is located..

unfortunatly Im pretty much color blind from an MS lession and Im having a hard time distinguishing between the wires. I dont want to clip the wrong wire and give me more electrical gremlins then I have..

BTW for those keeping tally I trashed another Alt tonite. Im sure soon O'reillys is going to stop warranting these damn things for me soon.

I was running the Oasis and Bam battery light fires up. shut the car off and the VR on the alt is damn near glowing red.
#6 on the car.. going to exchange #5 tommorow. I think the counter guys are going to start running from me and locking the doors when they see me pull in. :lol:
 
Can't find a pic but I've done it twice using the wire harness behind the passenger's side kick panel. Just can't find a pic.

Maybe try calling Eddie at American Air Suspension and have him talk you through it while on the phone. Eddie's a great guy and easy to deal with. Knowing him I can't see him not helping you out.
 
Thank you kindly I was in the completly wrong area I was seeking for the wire in the kick panel.
 
Its the green wire with the light green stripe on the gray connector behind the glove box.
 
well i cant help you on your wire issue....but as for the altanator, i talked to a guy who had the same problem with his grandmas 96 Mark,he went through 5 and then he decided to change the idler pulley and no more alt probs. At least thata what he told me.
 
I have all new pulleys, the reason why I keep trashing them is because they overheat. at idle with an ampmeter clamp the stock alt is pushing out 40 amps and the air ride compressor demands 110-160 amps. to fill the tanks.

The stock diodes and VM cannot keep up with the current draw. they over heat and BAM dead alt.

which is why I have a 300Amp hot at 800rpms comming so the Oasis has plenty of power to function.
 
All of my valves are tucked inside the bumper covers, and I have 2 6 gallon tanks and the oasis in the trunk, the Oasis is capable of filling the 2 tanks to 200 psi in under 2 minutes from 0 psi.
