For those of yall not having seen my previous AC threads I'll sum up.
Problem 1. air not blowing hard out of the vents. Fixed by reversing the polarity of the cable going to the fan that I got from ford.
Problem 2. The fan was constantly blowing even when the HVAC was off. I bought a new HVAC from LaserSVT and it fixed the problem for 2 days but returned.
the 'always blowing problem' went from fan always running to blowing out of the defrost.
Last night this all changed. We had a hard rain and when I got back in the car the fan wasn't going. Hmmm... then it started blowing. Then I noticed if I took a left turn it would intermittently turn the fan on (like a loose connection) and then when I pointed the wheel straight it would blow all the time.
My suspicion is that the yellow vacuum hose behind the dash is caught on something. I don't know how this would be connected to the rain but that's my theory.
(btw, I've taken the cal off and checked for any cracks and don't have any.)
That's it. Anyone agree/disagree?
