today i took my car to get an oil change at Ford and they told me i had an oil leak and it was ending up around the engine.
I suspect that coils might be an issue as the car seems to have issues accelerating. It sticks at like 2 or 2.5 rpms and then stalls there for like a second and then goes up suddenly to about 4rpms and goes back down to 2rpms or so.
I was wondering if maybe the coils are causing this leak or maybe it's the plugs or if anyone knows if these the coils or plugs can cause the oil leak.

Neither coils or plugs can cause an oil leak.

Often, the valve cover gaskets leak. When they leak, the oil can pool in the spark-plug wells, where the plugs and coils are. Over time, the oil around the coils can cause them to fail. (Even without oil, they'll fail eventually anyway.)

You need to determine exactly where the oil is coming from, and then correct that. It's likely that the dealer who saw the leak knows where it is leaking from.
Once that's done, you should look into replacing all of the plugs and COPs (Coil-On-Plug).

If you find a good independent (no chain stores) mechanic, you can save some money over what it would cost at a Ford dealer.

BTW, with any questions, it would help to know (1) the year of your LS, (2) V6 or V8, and (3) current odometer reading.

My bad I thought I had included the information
It's an 04 ls V6 & has about 69,900 miles on it
