I saw that too. I'm almost certain it's not real carbon fiber. The sail panels on my old SVT Contour had that same fake CF. If you don't garage your car, it's going to fade.

Yes, made in model years: 1998, 1998.5, 1999, and 2000. I had one of the last 75 produced in 2000. Bought it new, and sold it not even a year ago. Here she was:

I know this thread is about CF b-pillars. I actually had my sail panels painted black, so this picture doesn't help. But....
