oem amp not working with aftermarket headunit

i bought a harnes that simply has power wires for the amp but nothing regarding the speakers also the dsc speakers i believe are not working as well anyone know what wires i was supposed to use or did i get the wrong harness

What factory system did you have? Unless it was navigation, the only factory amps would be a mono one for the rear subs (if you have those) and a mono one for the center console (if you have those). You connect to these through an 8 pin connector at the back of the factory radio. You should have a harness adapter that plugs into this and has two blue wires and two RCA jacks.

and the definately do not plug into the rca jacks i was wondering if that was the case and i thank you for confirming it

the harness you want is called the audiophile or mach/premium harness, some of the early 03's had the black 98 and up harness and you will want to use the Metra 70-5519, but most of the later 03's had the off white 03 and up Scosche FDK11B audiophile, both of these harnesses have the amp integration harness with the RCA plugs
