A couple of months back I posted about how my AM radio was all fuzzy but cleared up when I hit the gas. As long as I had constant pressure the noise would reduce, when I took my foot off the fuzz/road noise was drowning out my radio.

I just got my car back yesterday from the mechanic where I had my fuel pump replaced, which was posted tuesday or so on here. Now my radio is clear as a whistle. I wonder how the two were related if at all?

Just thought I would post this in case anyone else is having their radio do the same... it was like a ticking 700$ time bomb.

your fuel pump is a little electric motor and as it fails it could possibly emit a radio wave interference. Very similar to the old unshielded spark plug wires.
