Now....dash light problems

Yesterday I replaced all the white light's in the dash and console with blue led's. Took it for a drive and everything was just fine when I parked it. Tonight I get in and no dash lights or console lights even the ash trey light doesn't work and I didn't replace it with an led.
When I turn on the head lights the message center display and the eatc display dim like I have the dimmer turned down all the way. Turn signals, bright indicator, batt light, seat belt, all warning lights still work. The only thing that doesn't work is every light that you can dim with the dimmer.
Could my dimmer have went bad over night? Is there a way to test it? The dimmer control still turn's the dome light on and off.
Speedo, tach everything still works.
Not sure where to go with this problem. Pulled gauge cluster back out and everything look fine. Double checked all my connections and everything is plugged in.

Is there one for JUST the dash lights? Owners manual says it's combined with the power windows and they still work but I changed that fuse anyway and no luck. It acts like my dimmer switch is turned all the way down the way the display's look. I'm leaning towards a bad dimmer switch, so I guess the search is on for a switch. What could I lose, at least I could rule that out once I replace it.
Is there another car that uses that same switch? So I have more options at the jy. Or do they still sell the new?

What is that thumb wheel dimmer switch called? Can't find it on rock auto.

or rewire/ repin to bypass the panel dim pot?

Do you know which wires to jump just to check it out? Or is there a way to pull the switch and test it on my work bench with an ohm meter or something?

Anyone have a wiring diagram of the instrument panel dimmer switch thumb wheel/head light switch on a gen1?

OK....I got this!
Apparently the home made bulb I made for the head light switch housing...the next day when the weather was extremely hot out the wires softened and moved together and caused a short killing all instrument panel lights in the console and dash. Took this bulb out of the equation and the dash comes back to life. Looks like I'll be making a different bulb. Unless someone knows where to buy an blue led that plugs into the factory socket.
