not a bad battery, bad starter?

went to oreillys to buy a new batery and they said it was fine and the alternator is fine. but i have a bad starter. how much is a new starter, and how easy is the instll? please help again

when i got a new starter from the dealership it was $180 for parts and labor

now when i start it, it takes a little time then starts and all the needles go all the way up. why is it.
