:eek: I Took My Car To The Dealer About 2 Years Ago To Change The HEATER CORE AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN, The Dam Thing Is LEAKING, But This Time I'm Gonna Do It Myself.I Recall We Had A TECH ARTICLE On This I Cannot Find It Anywhere

I Need To Know How OR IF Anyone Has Any PICS With How To Replace On A 96 Mark. It Would Be Very Helpfull.

wish you were closer i know a guy that will do that real cheap like 25 dollars an hour and does it in 6 hours.:)

there is really only 8 bolts that hold the dash on, but there an adventure to find. some one on here should have the maint manuel on cd and should be able to copy and past the heater core R&R. I dont think you need to remove it compleatly. just need to move it so you can get at the core. other wise there is alot of cables to undo and redo.

It's not hard just takes some time, alot of it.

thanks EDREA, Ialso wanted to add I've heard something about A/C evaporator connections and does the head unit need to come out as well with the climate controls. I want to tackel this job and i want to be sure what I'm doing.

I have manual on cd was gonna post it . Looked for an hour could not find it.
 
you might have to remove it to get at a bolt, I dont remember its was last summer when i pulled the one out of my car, you do have to drop the steering columm an remove all the under dash panels along with the center councel and seats (removeing the seats make the job easyer but not nessisary)
