Just got off work and walked out to the beautiful LSe and I saw that some fat ass dinged my door with their door. Its bad I mean all the way to the metal plus white paint on top of the black looks like :q:q:q:q. It looks like one big ass piece of hail hit the side of my door and left paint. Can I fix this? If so how?

some insurance companies will cover this, if you have that option... But you prolly dont.. ppl with sh!tty cars really dont care, in fact some do it on purpose... This is why i park in the back and take up two spots

I try to find the end spots by a curb where only one side of my car is in danger. Cuts it down by 50% !

Rubbing compound (a light one) will remove the "extra" paint, but if this went to metal, you'll need some touch up paint on it.

Is there an actual dent in the door? Is the paint chipped or is it just a transfer of paint from the other guy's door?

If it's a dent, then some folks have had good luck with bringing their car to those Dent Wizard repair shops. As long as it's not a crease and as long as they can access the area, they usually do a great job and at a reasonable price.

If the paint is chipped, you're talking about bodywork if it's a decent size. If it's small, then you might be able to touch it up yourself. If you have a transfer of paint on your door, then usually a clay bar will take it out.

I feel your pain, I hate when that happens. I do all the far and corner spot parking myself but it's even more frustating when you get home and have to worry about it happening in your own driveway.

This reminds me of a story awhile back. I was sitting in my wifes Intrepid in the Target parking lot. I was on the phone and her windows are pretty dark so you cant really see inside, plus a black interior makes it worse. Anyway this stupid motherf*cker pakistani guy parks next to me and SLAMS his door into my car. And its not like a "oops" type of thing, he just threw his door open without regard. I popped out of my car ready to kill this guy, scared the living sh!t out of him. I'd pay to have a picture of the look on his face. He looked at me, said sorry about 15 times then just got back in and took off scared sh!tless. Luckily it just hit the molding part of the door which i wasnt too upset about, but it was his disregard for another vehicle that really pissed me off, that and he barely spoke english. If i wasnt actually sitting in the car at the time i would never have known. Some people really suck.
