Hi everybody,

I've been having problems with no heat in my LS and I was trying to figure out if anyone has had this problem before. I was told that it could be a flap that broke and is stuck on cold but before I go through the hassle of trying to take the car apart and find out I want to know if there are any other reasons that anyone can think of before I do so.

Please search this forum and read the stickys. No heat is high on the list of common problems. It is not a broken blend air door ("flap"). The LS doesn't have one.
Main causes on no heat, in order.

1. Air in the cooling system (due to leaks due to cracks in the plastic cooling system parts.)
2. Bad DCCV (both valves stuck closed).
3. Clogged aux pump (V8 only).
4. Heater hoses intentionally plugged by previous owner.
5. DATC fault.
