My 03 Ls's check engine light came on and the car started sputering and shaking instantly! no warning nothing! what makes it worse is I've hooked it up to two Diagnostic Machines,only for them to read unable to link......Whats the deal here? is it the tester they use at advanced or is there a more serious problem? Help please!!

03+ uses CAN protocol, my guess is the shops that are testing it have old equipment that does not know how to communicate w/CAN based system....

And the orange tester that Advance uses by my work does not support CAN...
